Discovery Park is the largest of Seattle's city parks -
over 530 acres containing over 11 miles of walking trails. Once you're
in there you soon forget you are still inside the city limits.
But the fact is other Seattle neighborhoods border it to the
north and east, while Puget Sound and Elliott Bay borders the park to
the west and south.
Paul & Brittany spent a day in early August exploring some of the
trails as part of a longer walk taking in the Ballard locks, the
Burke-Gilman trail, and ending
up in Fremont.
