Labor Day: Mon Sept 6th... With less than 24 hours notice
Paul learned he would not be working the holiday so we had an
unexpected day to spend together. Drew is now installed at Naval Air
Station Whidbey Island - a 2 hour drive from us - so on the spur of the
moment we decided to go visit him. Of course, being a holiday, the
weather was awful - rained the whole time. So after being shown around
the base for a while we all drove to the small town of Oak Harbor where
we were happy to find a Brewpub called "Flyers" where we
could take shelter - these photos were taken while we were there - the
only ones taken all day.
